Exxon Mobil posted a $10.71 billion profit in the 4th quarter of 2005. This is the highest profit margin ever posted by an American corporation.

Now, I’m not a business major and I’ve only had a few economics courses, but I think this might have something to do with gas prices being so disgustingly high.
